Cinderella comes to the home

Cinderella Eva Long productions visits us to perform Cinderella and a medley of sing a long Christmas Hits in the company of residents, family and friends. A lovely time had by all!!

We all had a lovely time looking at the Christmas displays followed by tea and cake.

November Update

November brought us lots of Arts and Crafts and of course Remembrance Sunday.

October Update

Halloween, Birthdays, Dr Watson, Pub lunches and arm chair exercising.

September Update

September brought us some outdoor activities, dancing, animal therapy and of course lots of fun.

August Update

August gave us Italian flare, music, dancing and birthday celebrations.

July Update

July brought us baking, sunshine and colouring competitions.

June Update

In June we had lots going on and visitors young and old, we had reminiscence therapy, fun and games for all.

Entertainment and activities during May........

Particular highlight's were, enjoying the freshair and sunshine with afternoon tea and meeting Dr Watson the therapy dog, who will be visiting us weekly. We also enjoyed local children visiting to share some delicious cakes. 

The Kings coronation 2023

We had a great time today at Jean Elizabeth, celebrating the Kings coronation with afternoon tea surrounded by family and friends.

We look forward to the weather being brighter tomorrow as we hope to visit the party on the village green, to carry on the celebrations..

Some activities from this week at Jean Elizabeth's 

Pub lunches, yummy cakes and afternoon walks...

This week, residents enjoyed outings to the local pub "The Dukes" for lunch and afternoon cakes. 

We also made the most of the sunny weather, with afternoon strolls around our picturesque village of Woodford. 

Wonderful weekends at Jean Elizabeth

This weekend, we enjoyed a pamper session, the foot spa's were a favourite among residents. 

We were also lucky enough to have our in house musician, Mick, to provide us with some old favourites to sing along to.

Some residents also enjoyed visiting our local pub, "The Dukes", where we are always warmly welcomed, for a drink and a slice of cake!

Lovely visit from our local vicar...

We were visited by our local female Vicar this afternoon. 

We all thoroughly enjoyed chatting together with some prayers to finish, we are pleased to say, these visit will now be on a monthly basis.

Residents had lots of fun this week, when visited by our resident performer, even getting up for a dance with our lovely Sally. 

       

      

Woodford primary school children visit us for Easter arts and crafts..

We had the pleasure of welcoming 6 wonderful students from Woodford primary school this week, residents had lots of fun making Easter bonnets and such, with the help of the children. We are hoping to make this a regular occurrence, as this visit was so warmly received by our residents.
